Law Enforcement Explorer Post 749
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has openings in their Law
Enforcement Explorer Program. The goal of the Explorer Program is to
help youth to gain insight into a variety of programs that offer
hands-on career activities and to promote the growth and development of
adolescent youth in a positive manner.
Exploring is Learning for Life's career education program for young men
and women who are 14 through 20 years old. Exploring provides
opportunities for learning, leadership, character development, and
association with adults involved in the careers of interest to its youth
members.
Explorings purpose is to provide experiences to help youth mature and to
prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Exploring is based
on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth and the organizations
in their communities. Local businesses and organizations initiate an
Explorer post by matching their professionals and program resources to
the interests of the youth in the community. The result is a program of
activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow and
develop.
