The Investigation Division is responsible for
all investigations conducted by the Sheriff's Office. In addition to the
daily number of investigations generated by the Patrol Division, other
local, state and agencies nation wide contact us for assistance and
information. As we do them. This open communication is one of the most
valuable tools an investigator can utilize. In addition, internal
investigations are conducted for the Sheriff's Office and other government
agencies.
Investigators for Madison County are
extensively trained in all types of investigations from homicides to
property crimes and all facets from crime scene processing to
interviewing. Additionally, the constant updates in legislation and case
law are continually monitored.
